On Thursday 14 December we welcomed students and teachers from the High School of Tegea at the University of Piraeus. During the event, Sideri Olga MSc, a member of the Motivating Teachers 4 Europe project team, presented to the students the University of Piraeus, the departments it has and the opportunities they offer. Afterwards, Professor and Vice President of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus Foteini Asderaki as well as graduates of the Department and members of the Motivating Teachers 4 Europe project discussed with the students issues related to the European Union. More specifically, it was discussed what the European Union is, how it works and the opportunities it offers to young people.
